Who doesn’t love a Thriller movie? A thriller movie has everything in it. It is a rollercoaster of feelings. It always raises questions in your mind, whether this is true or is it something else, who is the killer, who is the traitor, who is the mastermind. All these questions are naturally born in your mind when you watch a thriller movie and it always has a great suspense and a climax to it. There have been so many thriller movies in Bollywood with superb actors and movie scripts. Black Friday (2007)

Black Friday is produced by Anurag Kashyap. This movie is based on Bombay bomb blast which happened in 1993. The blast leaves 1400 people injured and around 257 people are dead. After this incident, investigator discovers that the bomb is made from RDX and smuggled through some customs officers. Later on,  Riots happen between Hindu and Muslim communities and during riots underworld don office burnt. The police commissioner decided to take charge of this case and one by one, Mumbai police starts plucking up the suspects.

Gangster (2006)

Gangster released in April 2006 directed by Anurag Basu. The movie is mixed of thriller and romance. The movie is about one normal looking boy Shiney Ahuja (Daya) who lives with family and then how he enters into the crime world. One day while running from the cops he entered in a bar, where a girl dancer Kangana Ranaut (Simran) was there & he falls in love with her.  After running from cops they decided to settle down & so they adopted a boy (Bittu). They made a passport to get relocated and settle down in one place. But in one incident Bittu gets killed. Then Simran meets Aksah (Emraan Hashmi) and falls in love with him and gets pregnant. And in the climax Simran … (Don’t worry, we won’t spill the beans)

Race (2008)

The story of two half-brothers who are staying in South Africa, Saif Ali Khan (Ranvir Singh) and Akshaye Khanna(Rajiv Singh). Ranvir handles his father business and so Rajiv Sigh felt that he is a loser so decides to do some drama of his death. But all the while, Ranvir knows his gameplan & that is why he decided to teach a lesson to his brother which is the rest of the movie. There are some scenes in which make it more interesting. One of the popular songs from this movie is: “Paheli Nazar Mai” by Atif Aslam.

Aankhein (2002)

Amitabh Bachchan (Vijay Singh Rajput) who is working very hard and with loyalty for a bank for 30 years. But one day he gets fired from his work and then he decides to rob the bank. While he is creating his plan to rob the bank, he finds 3 blind guys – Vishwas Prajapati (Akshay Kumar), Arjun Verma (Arjun Rampal) and Ilias (Paresh Rawal) for robbery. Rest of the story is about how he trained them to rob a bank without knowing others that they are blind. It is a must watch!


Ghajini (2008)


One of the richest business tycoon Aamir Khan (Sanjay Singhania) he falls in love with a middle-class beautiful girl Kalpana (Asin Thottumkal) and without telling her, he always behaves that he is also a middle-class man and meets her. One day, a person named Ghajini killed Kalpana and damaged Aamir Khan’s brain. After two years when he comes back from coma, but he still suffers from some mental disorder. He started making notes and clicking pictures to remember all things. He continues to find that person who killed his girlfriend. This movie is a remake of a South Indian movie.

Kahaani (2012)

This is a story of one pregnant woman Vidya Bagchi finding her missing husband after the gas attack at Kolkata metro station. While finding her husband she was convinced that her husband used to work in NDC. But before she gets details about Arnab someone kills NDC Human resources officer. This movie made you guess the next scene at every moment. One should definitely watch this movie.


Special 26 (2013)

Special 26

This movie based on true events which occurred in the 1980’s. The director of this movie is Neeraj Pandey. The story of a group of four thieves who did so many robberies in the 1980s. They robbed businessmen and politicians. They came to office or home as CBI or Income tax departments and administering raids. The main cast is Akshay Kumar(Ajay), Anupam Kher (Sharma Ji), Manoj Bajpayee (Waseem), Kajal Aggarwal (Priya).

Kick (2014)

This movie is filled with romance and drama. The cast is Salman Khan (Devi Lal Singh / Devil), Jacqueline Fernandez (Shain Mehra), Nawazuddin Siddiqui(Shiv Gajra) and Randeep Hooda (Himanshu Tyagi). The story is about a man named Devil who is always looking for a kick in his life. So every time he does things that will give him a kick. One day he meets a girl and they fall in love but because of Devil’s instability and future purpose, they break up and later Devil understands what he wants to do and later the story is all about how he steals black money from the businessmen and politicians to help children.


Table No. 21 (2013)

The story about a couple Vivaan (Rajeev Khandelwal) and Siya (Tena Desae) who live a common life. One day Abdul Razzaq Khan (Paresh Rawal) comes and offers a lavish lifestyle but for that, they have to play one game and they can win 21 Cr. There are 8 questions, each question has some task. But later they realize this is not a game show, instead, it’s a game of life. In the 8th question, they have to murder one person. The person is a classmate in their college days. They always were ragging him and That ragging impacted his mental health and he can no longer live a normal life. The couple realizes their guilt.

Drishyam (2015)

This is a family thriller movie. The Movie is about one family who lives a normal life. Ajay Devgn (Vijay Salgaonkar)  is running a cable TV business in the village. He lives with his wife and two daughters. Elder daughter is molested by one boy who comes from a very rich family. When the boy came to her house and forced her, that time accidentally the elder daughter hits him on the head and he died on the spot. When Vijay comes to know about the whole event, he protected his family from cops inquiry and pretends that nothing has happened. When the boy goes missing during the investigation Vijay Salgaonkar’s family is the prime suspect. Rest of the story leads to a shocking climax.
